U22 Vietnam begins training right after arriving in Thailand

On the afternoon of December 1, the U22 Vietnam team arrived in Bangkok (Thailand) to prepare for the journey to compete for the gold medal at the 33rd SEA Games.

The flight lasted about 1 hour and 30 minutes and landed at Suvarnabhumi airport at 2:00 p.m.

Immediately after completing the entry procedures, coach Kim Sang-sik and his team moved to The Quarter Ramkhamhaeng Hotel, about 20 minutes from the airport. The team was given a snack and a short break before entering the first training session in Thailand.

The U22 Vietnam training session takes place at 5:00 p.m. at RBAC University, about 20 minutes from the military base. Initial records show that the pitch is of guaranteed quality, with favorable training conditions for the whole team.

According to the coaching staff, the players' spirit and physical condition are stable after the journey. U22 Vietnam aims to achieve good results right from the opening match and aims to compete for gold medals.

At the 33rd SEA Games, U22 Vietnam will meet Laos in the opening match at 4:00 p.m. on December 3 at Rajamangala Stadium. In the most recent encounter in the group stage of the 2025 Southeast Asian U23 Championship, coach Kim Sang-sik's team won 3-0.
