On the afternoon of December 10, two athletes Nguyen Trong Phuc and Trinh Thi Kim Ha won the silver medal in the standard male and female doubles performance at the 33rd SEA Games.
This medal could not satisfy Kim Ha. She shared: "I feel a little regret, a little regret that we were able to hold the first gold medal for the Vietnam Sports Delegation.
When the results came out, I felt regretful, this is something that everyone could see, because the results were not as expected. Now that I have finished the content, I will be more determined for the team content".
Kim Ha added: "However, with the silver medal in the men's and women's doubles, I am also happy because my efforts and the whole team and teachers are worthy of being rewarded.
Before that, overcoming host Thailand gave me more strength and motivation to compete in other events. I will try my best for the next competition."

In the final, Nguyen Trong Phuc and Trinh Thi Kim Ha achieved technical scores of 8.50 and 8.38, respectively. Opponents Singapore reached 8.84 and 8.50, surpassing Vietnam to bring home the gold medal. The above result was opposed by the Vietnamese coaching staff.
Ms. Thu Trang and coach Minh Tu have sent a complaint to the Organizing Committee of the 33rd SEA Games. The content reflects that the Singaporean athlete pair made 3 mistakes in the competition, however, these mistakes were not handled by the referee.

President of the Philippine Taekwondo Federation - Mr. Tolentino confirmed that the team had submitted a petition, saying that the referee did not comply with regulations and refused to release a video when there was a dispute over the score.
