According to this leader, the Ho Chi Minh City MMA Federation (HMMAF) has received a document from the Department. The Department of Culture - Sports of Ho Chi Minh City has requested HMMAF to report the incident before September 5, so that the Department can report to the Department of Home Affairs and the People's Committee of Ho Chi Minh City.

Mr. Luu Tu Bao is currently the President of HMMAF for the first term (2022 - 2027) and the Executive Director of Saigon Sports Club (SSC) - one of the leading martial arts clubs in Ho Chi Minh City. In addition, Mr. Bao also holds the position of President of the Vietnam Boxing Federation (VBF) for the second term (2023-2028).
According to Lao Dong, Mr. Luu Tu Bao has been absent for many activities of VBF, HMMAF... for many months now.
In March 2025, Mr. Luu Tu Bao went to the US to solve his personal problems. From then until September 2025, the President of the Vietnam Boxing Federation could not contact him when he was absent from tournaments and professional activities.
In October 2025, the Vietnam Boxing Federation will organize the 2nd Executive Committee Conference in 2025 in Ho Chi Minh City. The members of the Executive Committee of the Vietnam Boxing Federation will wait for announcement about the management of Mr. Luu Tu Bao.
On the afternoon of September 4, VBF will have an urgent meeting between the remaining members of the board of directors related to Mr. Bao's incident.
