Domestic coffee prices
The domestic coffee market increased by 1,100 VND/kg compared to yesterday. The price of green coffee beans in the Central Highlands provinces today fluctuates around 130,000 - 130,500 VND/kg.
World coffee prices
In the world market, Robusta and Arabica coffee both increased impressively.
The London Stock Exchange recorded Robusta prices for delivery in May 2025 at 5,331 USD/ton, up 100 USD compared to yesterday. Longer terms such as July and September also increased by over 100 USD/ton.
On the New York Stock Exchange, Arabica coffee for delivery in July 2025 increased by 13 cents/lb, closing at 385.75 cents/lb; futures such as September and December also increased by 11 - 12 cents/lb.
Market analysis
Coffee prices recovered thanks to the positive sentiment of the market before the forecast of supply could tighten.
The market is reacting to the news that Brazil's coffee output in the 2025-2026 crop year could decrease by 3% to 6.4% due to the impact of dry weather.
Along with that, Arabica inventories monitored by ICE increased to more than 800,000 bags the highest in 5 weeks but still low compared to the same period in recent years.
