In the Northern region, the price of live pigs today recorded an increase of 1,000 - 2,000 VND/kg in many localities. After adjustment, the provinces of Tuyen Quang, Thai Nguyen, Bac Ninh, Hanoi, Phu Tho will increase to 61,000 VND/kg, the same price previously recorded in Thai Nguyen and Hung Yen.
Meanwhile, the rate of 60,000 VND/kg was recorded in Cao Bang, Quang Ninh, Lao Cai, Son La (all increased by 1,000 VND). This is also the price purchased by traders in Hai Phong. The remaining localities recorded the mark of 59,000 VND/kg in Lang Son, Lai Chau and Dien Bien - the lowest in the region.
In the Central region, the price of live pigs in Quang Tri, Hue, Gia Lai, Dak Lak, Khanh Hoa all increased by 1,000 VND/kg (up to 58,000 VND/kg). The same increase was recorded at 59,000 VND/kg in Ha Tinh and Lam Dong. Thanh Hoa and Nghe An continue to lead the region with prices of 61,000 VND/kg (up 2,000 VND/kg). The two localities of Da Nang and Quang Ngai are moving sideways at 58,000 VND/kg.
In the Southern region, the price of live pigs increased simultaneously in all provinces and cities from 1,000 - 2,000 VND/kg. After adjustment, this market purchased in the range of 57,000 - 60,000 VND/kg.
