Assessments and forecasts
According to the Import-Export Department, Ministry of Industry and Trade, the diễn biến of domestic pepper prices in July 2026 shows that the market is entering a stable phase and tends to recover slightly, supported by reduced domestic supply and positive maintenance of purchasing demand for export.
If demand from major import markets continues to improve in the coming months, domestic pepper prices are likely to remain high and have room to increase further in the second half of 2026.
For Vietnam, maintaining stable export prices in the context of many volatile markets is a positive sign, contributing to creating proactiveness for businesses in implementing export contracts and limiting risks from short-term price fluctuations.
