On July 16, the Standing Committee of An Giang Provincial Party Committee held a Conference to announce decisions on personnel work in Phu Quoc special zone. At the conference, Comrade Pham Hoang Nam - Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Organization Committee - announced important decisions of the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee.
Accordingly, transferring and appointing comrade Le Quoc Anh - Provincial Party Committee member, Secretary of the Party Committee of Phu Quoc Special Zone - to hold the position of Deputy Head of the Organization Committee of An Giang Provincial Party Committee.
At the same time, announcing the decision to appoint Lieutenant General Dinh Van Noi - Deputy Secretary of An Giang Provincial Party Committee, to participate in the Executive Committee, Standing Committee of the Party Committee and hold the position of Secretary of the Party Committee of Phu Quoc Special Zone for the term 2025 - 2030 according to the transfer of the Secretariat.
Speaking to direct at the conference, Member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of An Giang Provincial Party Committee Nguyen Tien Hai emphasized: An Giang after the merger is a province with the largest area and population in the country. In which, Phu Quoc plays the role of a breakthrough growth pole. Each comrade in different positions must actively innovate thinking and methods.
The Secretary of the An Giang Provincial Party Committee also especially noted that the new leadership needs to focus decisively on site clearance for 21 projects serving the APEC 2027 Conference, strictly manage land, environment and maintain security and order.
Expressing his emotion after a period of attachment, Comrade Le Quoc Anh sent his deep thanks to the Standing Committee, officials and people of the special zone for accompanying him in completing his tasks.
