Notably, in Vietnam's pepper export market, the price of black pepper of 500 g/l and 550 g/l maintains a price range of 6,500 - 6,700 USD/ton. The current ASTA white pepper price is at 9,250 USD/ton (equivalent to 244,052 VND/kg).

Perspectives and forecasts
While this morning coffee prices turned down slightly by about 200 VND/kg. The fact that cash flow tends to withdraw from coffee to take profits at the end of the year is considered an indirect factor helping pepper prices maintain their position, when farmers are not under pressure to sell pepper to cover costs.
It is forecasted that during the New Year holidays, domestic pepper prices will continue to trade around the region of 150,000 VND/kg due to slowing trading activities, before entering a new wave of fluctuations in early 2026.
