Domestic pepper prices: flat trend
As of 11:30 today (September 27), the domestic pepper market continues to remain unchanged, at an average of 149,000 VND/kg. Currently, the price ranges from 148,000 - 150,000 VND/kg.
The domestic market started the trading week quietly, currently the listed areas are as follows:
Dong Nai and Gia Lai provinces are still purchasing at 148,000 VND/kg today. However, this is also the lowest price in the country.
In the same direction, Ho Chi Minh City, Dak Lak, Lam Dong kept the price zone unchanged, trading around 149,000 - 150,000 VND/kg.
However, compared to the average price in early July 2025, the positive trend continued to occur in the domestic market when it increased by nearly 10,000 VND/kg, currently standing firm at 149,000 VND/kg.
World pepper prices: Indonesia continues to decline
In the world market, pepper prices are mostly stable in the regions. In particular, the Indonesian exchange - one of the most vibrant markets - maintained a decrease of 0.13%. Currently, these two items are traded between 6,945 - 9,841 USD/ton (equivalent to 183,717 VND/kg - 260,324 VND/kg).
On the other hand, the Brazilian market held 6,500 USD/ton (about 171,945 VND/kg). In the same direction, Malaysia's black and white pepper traded at high prices, reaching 13,000 USD/ton and 9,600 USD/ton.
In the pepper export market of Vietnam, the price of black pepper of 500 g/l and 550 g/l is stable, anchored at 6,600 - 6,800 USD/ton. ASTA white pepper prices remain high, currently standing at 9,250 USD/ton (equivalent to 244,691 VND/kg).
