Assessments and forecasts
In general, domestic pepper prices are fluctuating in the range of 145,000-14,000 VND/kg. Price reduction pressure mainly comes from new supply to the market while purchasing power has not had a clear breakthrough.
Geopolitical instability in the Middle East is increasing risks to transportation, international trade and global supply chains. Rising fuel prices will push up sea and air transport costs. At the same time, the fact that some countries restrict or close airspace for security reasons also makes transportation time longer and logistics costs increase sharply.
