Information from the Hanoi Market Management Department (QLTT), Interdisciplinary Inspection Team No. 1 under the Hanoi Steering Committee 389 has just handled a case of trading in handbags with signs of counterfeiting major brands.
Accordingly, on November 5, Interdisciplinary Inspection Team No. 1 inspected the Handbag Business Establishment located in Thuong Yen (Chuyen My Commune, Hanoi City), owned by Mr. N.V.K.
During the inspection, the Inspection Team discovered that Mr. N.V.K did not register to establish a business household in cases where registration was required according to regulations.
At the time of inspection, Mr. N.V.K was discovered to be trading 1,610 handbags and wallets of various types with the brands Chanel, Dior, MLB, YSL, Hermes with signs of counterfeiting the brands " Chanel", "Dior", "MLB", "YSL", " Hermes" that are protected in Vietnam.
The value of the goods according to the listed price is 168,800,000 VND. All infringing goods have been temporarily detained for verification. The expected administrative penalty for Mr. N.V.K is 110,000,000 VND.
The incident is continuing to be verified and clarified.

Previously, Deputy Director of the Department of Industry and Trade, Deputy Head of the Standing Committee of the Hanoi City Steering Committee 389 Nguyen Kieu Oanh signed Decision No. 81/QD-BCD389/TP on the establishment of 2 interdisciplinary inspection teams to combat smuggling, trade fraud and counterfeit goods in Hanoi city.
According to this Decision, Hanoi City established 02 interdisciplinary inspection teams consisting of 26 members from the following forces: Market Management, City Police (PC03, PA04), Customs Branch of Region I, Hanoi Tax, Department of Health, Department of Agriculture and Environment, Department of Science and Technology...
In which, Interdisciplinary Inspection Team No. 1 is chaired by Market Management Team No. 14, Interdisciplinary Inspection Team No. 2 is chaired by Market Management Team No. 17.
The two delegations were assigned to inspect and control 126 wards, communes and towns throughout the city from October 15, 2025 to December 15, 2025, with the form of surprise inspections.
