A large amount of household appliance products with signs of violating legal regulations was discovered at Pham Quynh Van 6688 business household (Hoang Mai, Hanoi).

According to information on July 22 from the Domestic Market Management and Development Department, on the evening of July 16, 2025, the Inspection Team under the Department coordinated with Hanoi City Police to suddenly inspect the cosmetics, consumer goods, and household appliances business establishment under Pham Quynh Van 6688 Business Household (Hoang Mai Ward, Hanoi) owned by Ms. Pham Quynh Van.

Here, the Inspection Team discovered that Pham Quynh Van 6688 Business Household store and traded a large quantity of household appliances, mainly heaters, electrical fans, voted egg beater machines, non-stick pans, chili spoons... without information shown on the product label, packaging of goods, documents accompanying the goods; documents, certificates of origin of goods, contracts, sales invoices, customs declarations as well as documents proving legal ownership of goods according to regulations. The number of violating goods at the facility reached hundreds of types of products.

Working with the Inspection Team, the business owner confessed that all the goods sold at the business establishment were imported floating on the market with the purpose of reselling for profit.

Initially, the Inspection Team determined that the above items had signs of violating the product label and origin. Many products are labeled in foreign languages but do not have documents proving legal import or declaring quality according to Vietnamese law.

"The business of goods of unknown origin not only violates regulations on trade and consumer protection but also poses a potential risk to public health" - said a representative of the Domestic Market Management and Development Department.

Currently, all violating goods have been temporarily detained for further investigation and handling according to the law. The Domestic Market Management and Development Department recommends that consumers should choose to shop at reputable businesses, carefully check the origin of products and only use goods with clear and transparent information to avoid unnecessary consequences.
