On October 27, Market Management Team No. 1 - Hanoi Market Management Department (Standing Agency of Hanoi City Steering Committee 389) inspected the G.M clothing business and production household in Doi 2 village (Phu Nghia commune, Hanoi), owned by Mr. N.G.M.
At the time of inspection, the facility was organizing the production and trading of clothes with 9 sewing machines, cutting machines, and notebook pushers operating continuously, along with nearly 20 workers working.

Working with the authorities, Mr. N.G.M said that the business household mainly produces clothes using traditional methods and does business through social networks.
Accordingly, the products are introduced and offered for sale on a personal Facebook page named "Hien Nguyen". Mr. M also admitted that the sportswear products with the YONEX brand posted on this page are all manufactured by the same facility, not genuine imported or distributed goods.
Through inspection, Market Management Team No. 1 discovered a large number of counterfeit goods of the YONEX brand - a famous Japanese sports brand.
The authorities have temporarily detained all machinery, tools, materials ( fabric, labels, packaging, etc.) along with all finished and semi-finished products.
The total number of violating goods is up to 16,270 products, including 5,636 pants and 8,761 finished shirts with YONEX labels; in addition, there are 1,873 unfinished products such as cut, sewn or pre- printed pants and shirts of this brand.

Currently, Market Management Team No. 1 is continuing to verify and clarify the violation of G.M business household and related details for handling according to the law.
The authorities recommend that consumers should be cautious when shopping online, should choose genuine agents or distribution channels to ensure their rights, avoid buying counterfeit goods that cause economic damage and affect the reputation of genuine businesses.
