From September 5 to September 10, 2025, Market Management Team No. 2 - Hanoi Market Management Department in coordination with Hong Ha Ward Police - Hanoi City Police inspected food businesses in the area.
In just a few days, the authorities discovered and handled 5 violations related to trading goods without invoices and documents, of unknown origin, with a total handling amount of more than 65 million VND.
Through inspection, the violating items were mainly discovered to be food products consumed a lot during the Mid-Autumn Festival and daily life of the people, such as: coconut oil used to make fillings, beef intestines, chicken feet, dried red apples or sai fish were all discovered without documents proving their origin.
The value of the infringing goods was more than 25 million VND, the administrative fine collected for the state budget was 40 million VND.

The discovery of essential goods such as coconut oil for filling, beef intestines, chicken feet, dried red apples or basa fish of unknown origin shows that a number of businesses still deliberately violate, putting profits above people's health.
In the context of the Mid-Autumn Festival and the year-end holidays approaching, the risk of dirty food and unsafe food entering the market is very high, requiring authorities to maintain regular, continuous and closer inspections.
Market Management Team No. 2 affirmed that it will continue to closely coordinate with Hanoi City Police and local authorities, strengthen supervision at hot spots, and at the same time propagate to raise people's vigilance and choose products with clear origins.
Strictly handling violations not only contributes to restoring market order but also plays an important role in protecting public health and preserving consumer confidence.
