The Hanoi Department of Industry and Trade in coordination with the Hanoi Market Management Department (QLTT) has just launched an inspection and control of goods at the 2025 Autumn Fair.
Accordingly, on the afternoon of October 27, Deputy Director of the Department of Industry and Trade, Deputy Head of the Standing Committee of the Hanoi City Steering Committee 389 Nguyen Kieu Oanh, and a working delegation of the Hanoi Market Management Department directly visited the National Exhibition Center (VEC) to inspect the products and goods displayed at the 2025 Autumn Fair.
At the inspection, Ms. Nguyen Kieu Oanh emphasized the need to strengthen inspection and strict control of goods at the fair, especially agricultural products, food, consumer goods, etc. Ms. Oanh requested the authorities to focus on checking stamps, labels, origin, and expiration date, while ensuring full regulations on food safety and hygiene.
Ms. Nguyen Kieu Oanh said that inspection and control of goods is a regular task of the Market Management force, especially at a time when the fair attracts a large number of people and tourists.

Mr. Duong Manh Hung - Deputy Head of the Hanoi Market Management Department also said that during the first Autumn Fair - 2025, the Market Management force will organize periodic and surprise inspections, focusing on items with the risk of violating labels, quality and food safety.
"We are committed to strictly handling all violations, not allowing smuggling, trade fraud, counterfeit goods and poor quality goods to occur, contributing to stabilizing the market, protecting consumer rights and the reputation of goods in the capital", Mr. Duong Manh Hung emphasized.
The Hanoi Market Management Department also strengthens online supervision, receives feedback from people via hotlines and digital platforms, contributing to ensuring the safety of goods, maintaining market stability during the year-end shopping season.


The above inspection activities are at the peak of the anti-smuggling, trade fraud and counterfeit goods at the end of the year.
Accordingly, from October 15, 2025, the Steering Committee 389 of Hanoi City has established 02 interdisciplinary inspection teams consisting of 26 members from the forces: Market Management, City Police (PC03, PA04), Customs Branch of Region I, Hanoi Tax, Department of Health, Department of Agriculture and Environment, Department of Science and Technology...
The two delegations were assigned to inspect and control 126 wards, communes and towns throughout the city from October 15, 2025 to December 15, 2025, with the form of surprise inspections.
