The 15th day of the 7th lunar month this year is tomorrow (September 6th of the lunar calendar), but from today, the shopping atmosphere at Hang Be market (Gia Ngu street, Hanoi) has been bustling with buyers and sellers.
According to the reporter's records, from early on, the paths in the market were packed with shoppers. Many families took the opportunity to choose chicken, sticky rice, and fruit to offer early to avoid the crowded situation of buyers on the full moon day.

At 6:30 a.m., Ms. Kieu Thi Kim Tram (Hanoi) went to Hang Be market to buy wedding goods for the company. "Today I buy five-color sticky rice, usually with chicken every year, but this year the company is a vegetarian festival, so I only chose sticky rice with flowers and fruits for the ceremony. Thinking that there were not many people today, I found the atmosphere very bustling, there were many people buying wedding items," Ms. Tram shared.
Also going to Hang Be market to buy things to do for the full moon of the 7th lunar month, Ms. Dinh Thanh Mai (Hang Bong street, Hanoi) said that holiday items such as sticky rice and boiled chicken still keep prices stable as usual, only fresh flowers increase slightly during this time.
Due to increased demand, many traders said that they have to wake up at 2-3 am to prepare chicken, sticky rice and spiritual items.
Ms. Hoang Dung - a long-time holiday chicken seller at Hang Be market, said: "Today I woke up at 2am to make goods, it is expected that today the shop will be able to sell at least 200 - 300 chickens and about 30 - 50 trays of food. The number of customers started to increase from 6am, and it is expected that the number of customers will be increased both today and tomorrow".
