Taking advantage of the attraction of the box office storm "Red Rain", many accounts on groups and forums have posted information and advertised for sale of screenings to watch the film. However, according to records, many of these screenings are not real, a trick used by the subjects to "trap" people.
N.L.N.H (Cau Giay, Hanoi) with the desire to directly watch "Red Rain" fell into the "trap" of buying virtual tickets twice. H shared: "I planned to buy tickets directly, but the time I wanted to see the tickets was out of stock. When I saw that there were tickets being sold on groups, I asked to buy them and transferred the money to the seller in advance."
However, H felt despaired when both contacts with different accounts were blocked immediately after transferring the money.
H said: "The first time I dared to transfer only half of the ticket amount of 115,000 VND and after successfully paying, I could not contact them. The second time, I looked through M.N's personal page and saw many successful buyers, so I trusted and asked to buy."
In the second transaction, H suggested transferring half of the money, but M.N's account required transferring all the tickets to avoid selling them to others.
Not only that, this person requested that when transferring money, the transaction content must be clearly stated, otherwise he would only receive 1/2 ticket. This person continued to convince H to transfer more money in ticket money and clearly stated the transaction content.

After following the account owner's instructions, H received the ticket code. However, when he went to the cinema, the system conducted a review and check, and the movie tickets were invalid, so H could not contact the account owner M.N.
"The amount of money I lost was about 500,000 VND, for students, that amount is not small. After this incident, I don't dare book tickets to see Red Rain anymore" - H sadly shared.
In the same situation, N.A.T (Hai An, Hai Phong) also lost more than 200,000 VND when buying a transfer ticket.
