Hanoi - A chain of shoe stores was fined for trading in products that violated regulations on product labeling and price listing.

The Hanoi Market Management Department (QLTT) recently inspected the store system of the bee Shoes chain in the area and discovered many violations.

Accordingly, at 198A Nguyen Trai (Thanh Xuan Ward, Hanoi), a store in the bee Shoes system sells many shoe products without an additional stamp in Vietnamese, and lacks the mandatory contents according to regulations on product labeling.

All of the infringing goods at this facility are listed to be worth about 18 million VND. The business household at this address was fined 2.5 million VND.

At bee Shoes facility at 235 Chua Boc (Kim Lien Ward, Hanoi), the authorities discovered a number of shoe products with unclear price listings. Accordingly, the store only recorded the amount but did not clearly state the "companion of Vietnam" unit, and at the same time, the product did not have a full sub-label according to regulations.

The total value of the infringing goods here is up to more than 122 million VND. The business household was administratively fined VND 14.5 million.

bee Shoes at 27-29 Ho Tung Mau, Tu Liem ward, was also discovered to be trading in goods with labels (including secondary labels) that did not have enough mandatory content. For this behavior, the business household was fined VND 6.25 million.

In total, the entire bee Shoes system in Hanoi has a total administrative fine of VND 23,625,000.

The authorities will continue to step up inspection and examination of businesses in the fields of fashion, footwear, handbags, etc. to thoroughly prevent commercial fraud and trading of goods of unknown origin or that do not fully comply with regulations on labeling.

At the same time, consumers are advised to choose products with clear origins, full sub-labels in Vietnamese and have mandatory information according to regulations to protect their own rights.
