2 workers, 1 director receive the title of Labor Hero, Labor Medal

The Vice President awarded the title of Labor Hero and the Third Class Labor Medal to 2 workers and 1 academician.

On July 29, in Hanoi, Central Party Committee member, Vice President Vo Thi Anh Xuan - First Vice President of the Central Emulation and Reward Council - attended and spoke at the 6th Patriotic Emulation Congress of the Vietnam National Coal and Mineral Industries Group (TKV Group) for the period 2025-2030.

At the congress, on behalf of the Party and State leaders, Vice President Vo Thi Anh Xuan presented the title of Labor Hero to Mr. Pham Dinh Duan (worker at Exploitation Workshop 14, Vanh Danh Coal Joint Stock Company, TKV Group) for his outstanding achievements in labor, creativity, contributing to the cause of building socialism and defending the Fatherland.

The Vice President awarded the Third Class Labor Medal to Mr. Do Tuan Thoan (a repairman of electromechanical in the mine, the Mining Transport Workshop, Vanh Danh Coal Joint Stock Company, TKV Group) and Mr. Dao Hong Quang (Director of the Institute of Mining Science and Technology, TKV Group), who have made outstanding achievements in their work, contributing to the cause of building socialism and defending the Fatherland.

On this occasion, 6 collectives and 21 individuals under TKV Group were honored to receive Certificates of Merit from the Prime Minister.

Speaking at the congress, Vice President Vo Thi Anh Xuan highly appreciated the tasks and solutions that the Group has set out; proposed to continue promoting the tradition, overcoming the difficulties and weaknesses of the previous period, overcoming challenges, and determined to successfully implement the goals and tasks assigned by the Party and the State.

That is to become a strong economic group, maintain its position as one of the three pillars of energy, contributing to ensuring the country's energy security; proactively adapt to new development trends in the world such as digital economy, green economy, circular economy.

Sustainable and effective development on the basis of exploitation, deep processing and resource-saving use, associated with Vietnam's responsibility to protect the environment, adapt to climate change and international commitment, which is to achieve net zero emissions by 2050.

To contribute to achieving those goals and tasks, the Vice President requested the Group to continue to innovate and improve the quality of emulation and reward work in the spirit of Directive 41-CT/TW of the Politburo, ensuring quality, efficiency, substance, and closeness to task requirements.

"Emulation movements need to focus on overcoming limitations, creating a breakthrough and sustainable development for the Group.

The reward work needs to focus on direct workers, small collectives, and production teams; launch emulation and reward for achievements in the application of science and technology, innovation, increase productivity, quality, ensure the highest level of labor safety, and protect the environment..." - the Vice President emphasized.

The Group's officers, workers and employees continue to promote the tradition of the Vietnamese working class in the new period, constantly improving their knowledge, skills and professional skills, actively contributing to building the Group to develop strongly, making worthy contributions to the cause of building and defending the Fatherland.

The reward work was carried out by TKV Group publicly, transparently, promptly and to the right subjects, focusing on workers, direct employees and collectives at the grassroots level; linking emulation movements with digital transformation, automation, automation, and application of technology; detecting and replicating many typical examples, creating motivation and spreading the competitive spirit throughout the Group. The emulation movements have contributed to helping the Group complete and exceed the set targets.

In the 2020-2025 period, the total revenue of the whole Group will be 820,630 billion VND; total pre-tax profit will be 34,008 billion VND; paid to the State budget will be 120,326 billion VND; labor productivity, average growth rate of 7.8%/year.

The average salary of employees in 2020 is 13.83 million VND/person/month and in 2024 is 18.56 million VND/person/month...
