On the afternoon of July 22, at the Government Headquarters, Deputy Prime Minister Bui Thanh Son - Head of Steering Committee No. 6 of the Government Party Committee, chaired a meeting with the Party Committee of the Vietnam National Petroleum Group on preparations for the Group's Party Congress.
At the meeting, the Deputy Prime Minister directed the Group to absorb the comments at the meeting, continue to complete preparations to organize the Party Congress solemnly, safely, economically and successfully.
Regarding the completion of the draft documents of the Congress, the Deputy Prime Minister requested the Group to closely follow and concretize Resolutions No. 57, 59, 66 and 68 - "four pillars", the growth target of 8% in 2025 and 2 digits of the country in the next period.
In which, the development roadmap of the industry is clarified into specific targets and solutions in the political report to ensure national petroleum security in all situations; develop and diversify products in the green transformation trend; improve capacity and efficiency of corporate governance.
The political report must objectively, comprehensively and honestly assess the situation, achieved results, advantages, limitations, causes and lessons learned to suit the situation, new tasks and requirements; clearly demonstrate the Group's action, concision, concision, and clear development orientation.
Regarding personnel work, the Deputy Prime Minister assessed that the personnel plan has been prepared thoroughly, ensuring compliance with the regulations and instructions of the Central Government and the Government Party Committee.
At the same time, it is noted that the introduction of personnel needs to ensure quality and a reasonable structure, including the ratio of female, young cadres, scientific cadres, and ethnic cadres according to requirements.
Regarding propaganda work, the Group needs to highlight the achievements in the past term; at the same time, clearly state the direction and tasks in the coming time to work with the whole country to firmly enter the era of high and sustainable growth.
