Earlier, on July 27, while traveling through Nậm Tăm Commune, Sìn Hồ District, Lai Châu Province, Lieutenant Lý A Chánh - police officer of Pa Khóa Commune and Lieutenant Nguyễn Duy Khánh - police officer of Noong Hẻo Commune heard a cry for help in the area of a stream within the territory of Nậm Tăm Commune.
At that time, the two lieutenants of the Public Security did not hesitate to risk their lives, immediately jumping into the water to rescue a person who was drowning and had lost consciousness, and provided timely first aid and saved the victim's life; the victim's health has since recovered.
Minister Lương Tam Quang evaluated that the brave actions of Lieutenant Lý A Chánh and Lieutenant Nguyễn Duy Khánh in rescuing the person in distress have clearly demonstrated the image of a brave and skilled public security officer, proficient in emergency response skills, and always ready to sacrifice themselves to protect the lives and health of the people.
The two officers have made a significant contribution to enhancing the image of the People's Public Security Forces, affirming the important role and position of the public security forces at the commune level in ensuring national security, social order, and safety, and protecting the peaceful and happy lives of the people.
On behalf of the Party Committee of the Public Security, the leaders of the Ministry of Public Security, Minister Lương Tam Quang commended and praised Lieutenant Lý A Chánh and Lieutenant Nguyễn Duy Khánh.
The Minister requested that the Lai Châu Provincial Public Security Department have a suitable form of commendation and recognition of the outstanding achievements of the two lieutenants, and also do a good job of propaganda to spread and encourage public security officers to continue to promote the good traditions of the People's Public Security Forces "For the country, forget oneself; for the people, serve”.
