The Hanoi People's Committee has just submitted a document to the City People's Council on the election of additional positions as members of the Hanoi People's Committee for the 2021-2026 term.
According to the Hanoi People's Committee, on June 14, 2025, the Minister of National Defense issued Decision No. 268/QD-BQP on the appointment of Major General Dao Van Nhan, Deputy Commander in Chief of the Hanoi Capital Command, to hold the position of Commander of the Hanoi Capital Command.
Then, on June 22, 2025, the Chairman of the Hanoi People's Committee issued decisions on receiving and appointing officials:
Receive and appoint Mr. Le Thanh Nam (born in 1971), Deputy Head of the Hanoi Party Committee's Organization Committee to work at the Hanoi People's Committee Office; hold the position of Chief of Office of the Hanoi People's Committee.
Receive and appoint Mr. Tran Anh Tuan (born in 1977), member of the City Party Committee, Secretary of the Son Tay Town Party Committee to work at the Department of Science and Technology; hold the position of Director of the Hanoi Department of Science and Technology;
Receiving and appointing Mr. Nguyen Sy Truong (born in 1977), Permanent Vice Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Hanoi City, to hold the position of Director of the Hanoi Department of Ethnic Minorities and Religions.
In order for the direction and management of the City People's Committee for the 2021-2026 term to meet requirements in all areas of work, the Chairman of the Hanoi People's Committee submitted to the City People's Council for consideration and election to the additional position of Member of the City People's Committee for the 2021-2026 term, for Major General Dao Van Nhan, Commander of the Hanoi Capital Command; Mr. Le Thanh Nam, Chief of Office of the Hanoi People's Committee; Mr. Tran Anh Tuan, Director of the Department of Science and Technology; Mr. Nguyen Sy Truong, Director of the Hanoi Department of Ethnic Minorities and Religions.
