According to the report of the Quang Ninh Coal Party Committee, for the 2020-2025 term, the Quang Ninh Coal Party Committee has closely coordinated with the Party Committee of the Vietnam National Coal and Mineral Industries Group (TKV) and local Party committees in leading and directing the implementation of political tasks and Party building work; promptly removing difficulties to help TKV units in Quang Ninh province complete political tasks and annual production and business plans.
In particular, in 5 years, the Quang Ninh Coal Party Committee has admitted 3,250 party members, accounting for 20.4% of the total number of newly admitted party members in Quang Ninh province.
Studying and following Ho Chi Minh's ideology, morality and style is promoted, associated with building the image of "Miner - Soldier".
Environmental protection, ensuring security and order, and taking care of workers' lives have received attention. TKV and its units have contributed over VND995 billion to social security activities.
The production and business plan targets are basically complete and exceed the plan. In the 2020-2024 period, TKV exploited 191 million tons of coal, of which units under the Quang Ninh Coal Party Committee exploited 142 million tons, accounting for 74.3% of the total output of TKV.
Total coal output consumed in the period of 2020-2024 reached over 227 million tons, an increase of 27 million tons compared to the period of 2015-2020. The total revenue of the Group reached more than VND 820,000 billion.
The position and comprehensive leadership role of the Party in State-owned enterprises clearly demonstrates; effective production and business, basically maintaining security and order; preserving and developing capital, fulfilling budget obligations to the State; constantly improving working conditions, eating, staying, traveling, resting, improving the material and spiritual life of workers; doing good environmental work, harmonizing with localities and communities, ensuring the interests of shareholders. Safety work has had many positive changes, reducing the number of serious work accidents compared to the 2015 - 2020 term.
Regarding the general goal of the 2025-2030 term, the Quang Ninh Coal Party Committee will continue to promote the tradition of "discipline and Unity", strengthen the building of the Party and the political system to be clean, strong and comprehensive; constantly innovate, create, improve labor productivity, income of workers and competitiveness of units; pioneer in implementing digital transformation, green transformation, contributing to building TKV Group to develop comprehensively, sustainably, in harmony with the environment, ensure national energy security, national defense security and socio-economic development of the country; contributing to building Quang Ninh province to be rich, civilized, modern, happy, becoming a centrally-run city before 2030.
