On April 1, 1975, our combined military branches launched a "steel fist" to destroy the "barrier" of Phuong Hoang Pass, rising to liberate Ninh Hoa. Then continuing the rapid advance, on April 2, 1975, Nha Trang town and Van Ninh, Vinh Xuong and Dien Khanh districts were liberated. On April 3, 1975, the town and military complex of Cam Ranh were liberated and from April 14, 1975 to April 29, 1975, the Truong Sa archipelago was liberated.
