On the afternoon of June 29, the Standing Committee of Soc Trang Provincial Party Committee held a conference to implement decisions on personnel work.
At the Conference, representatives of the Provincial Party Committee Standing Committee announced the decision of the Provincial Party Committee Standing Committee to allow 32 cadres to retire early according to their wishes from July 1, 2025.

Including Mr. Tran Van Viet, member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Committee; Mr. Nguyen Van Sac, member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Internal Affairs Committee; Mr. Nguyen Phu Hoa, member of the Provincial Party Committee, Permanent Vice Chairman of the Provincial Party Inspection Committee; together with Vice Chairman of the Provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee; Chairman of the Provincial Farmers' Association; Vice Chairman of the Provincial Federation of Labor; leaders of the District Party Committee, the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee, Head of the Organizing Committee of the districts of Ke Sach, Tran De, My Tu, My Xuyen, Soc Trang City, etc.

The leaders of the Department of Home Affairs approved the decision of the Chairman of the People's Committee of Soc Trang province approving 27 cadres to retire early according to their wishes from July 1, 2025.

Including Mr. Lam Hoang Nghiep, member of the Provincial Party Committee Standing Committee, Permanent Vice Chairman of the People's Committee of Soc Trang province and Deputy Directors of the Department of Industry and Trade, Home Affairs, Culture, Sports and Tourism, Chairman, Vice Chairman of the People's Committee of Soc Trang city, Ke Sach district, My Tu, Long Phu...

In addition, 4 cadres of the Provincial People's Council were also given early retirement decisions at their request, including Chief of Office, Deputy Chief of Office of the National Assembly Delegation and Provincial People's Council; Head of the Ethnic Committee and Head of the Culture - Social Committee.

Also at the conference, provincial leaders congratulated a number of officials assigned new tasks at central agencies such as the Ministry of Public Security, Military Region 9, People's Court of Ca Mau province and People's Procuracy of Dong Thap province.
The Provincial Party Committee Standing Committee also presented gifts to send a farewell to cadres of the central executive sector stationed in the locality who have decided to change jobs or retire.

Speaking at the conference, Secretary of the Soc Trang Provincial Party Committee Lam Van Man acknowledged and praised the exemplary spirit, sense of responsibility, and pioneering of cadres retiring early according to their personal wishes, contributing to facilitating the work of restructuring the apparatus and arranging cadres.
Mr. Man emphasized: "This is not only personal wishes, but also a sacrifice for the common good, demonstrating a noble sense of responsibility, creating conditions for young cadres to develop".
The Provincial Party Secretary also informed that up to now, Soc Trang has basically completed preparations for the merger of commune-level administrative units and the consolidation of provinces, officially operating under the new model from July 1, 2025. This is one of the initial results from the drastic implementation of the Central Resolutions on streamlining the apparatus, improving the effectiveness and efficiency of operations.
Provincial Party Secretary Lam Van Man expressed his deep gratitude to the officials who received the decision, acknowledging their important contributions to the cause of building and developing Soc Trang province over the past 33 years. At the same time, he hoped that after retiring, comrades would continue to accompany, give comments, and share experiences to support the provincial leaders in the coming time.
