At the conference, representatives of the Inspectorate Department for Anti-Corruption, Wastefulness, and Negative Phenomena disseminated to delegates the method, process and principles of drawing lots to select people whose assets and incomes are verified, ensuring compliance with legal regulations, publicity, transparency and objectivity.
In the presence of representatives of the City Party Committee's Inspection Committee, the City Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee and representatives of agencies and units subject to asset and income verification, the City Inspectorate conducted a draw by agency and unit to ensure publicity, transparency, and objectivity.
As a result, 76 officials, heads and deputy heads of 12 agencies and units were selected to verify assets and income in 2026. Agencies and units include: Lai Vu Industrial Park One Member Limited Liability Company; An Hai Irrigation Works Exploitation One Member Limited Liability Company; Hai Phong Lottery and Construction One Member Limited Liability Company; Hai Duong Lottery and Construction One Member Limited Liability Company; Hai Duong Irrigation Works Exploitation One Member Limited Liability Company; Hai Phong Economic Zone Management Board; Hai Phong Traffic Construction Investment Project Management Board; Hai Phong Civil and Industrial Construction Investment Project Management Board; Hai Duong University; Department of Home Affairs; Department of Education and Training; Department of Industry and Trade.
The draw to select people whose assets and incomes are verified is one of the solutions to improve the effectiveness of controlling assets and incomes of people with positions and powers; contributing to preventing, detecting and handling corruption and negativity.
Speaking at the conference, the representative of the Chief Inspector of the city emphasized that the draw to select people to be verified for assets and income is carried out publicly, transparently, in accordance with procedures, ensuring objectivity and democracy according to the quantity determined at each unit. To ensure the effective implementation of the 2026 asset and income verification plan, the City Inspectorate requests agencies, units and individuals to seriously comply with the asset and income verification decisions of the asset and income control agency; and at the same time provide complete, timely, and accurate information related to regulations. In addition, units need to closely coordinate with the verification team throughout the implementation process to ensure the progress, quality and efficiency of asset and income verification work.
