On November 10, at the 10th Session of the 15th National Assembly, Politburo member and National Assembly Chairman Tran Thanh Man signed and issued a National Assembly Resolution on personnel work.
In Resolution No. 243/2025/QH15, the National Assembly resolved to: approve the proposal of the Chairman of the National Election Council on the Permanent Vice Chairman of the National Election Council and Head of the Personnel Subcommittee for Mr. Do Van Chien - Politburo member, Vice Chairman of the National Assembly; approve the proposal of the Chairman of the National Election Council on the Vice Chairman of the National Election Council for Ms. Bui Thi Minh Hoai - Politburo member, Secretary of the Party Central Committee, Chairman of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front.
Member of the National Election Council for Mr. Trinh Van Quyet - Secretary of the Party Central Committee, Head of the Central Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Commission; Ms. Nguyen Thi Thanh - Member of the Party Central Committee, Vice Chairwoman of the National Assembly and Mr. Tran Sy Thanh - Member of the Party Central Committee, Chairman of the Central Inspection Commission.
Previously, with the majority of delegates in favor, the National Assembly approved the dismissal of Ms. Nguyen Thi Thanh from the position of Permanent Vice Chairman of the National Election Council and Head of the Personnel Subcommittee.
Remove Mr. Nguyen Duy Ngoc from the National Election Council as member of the National Assembly with the structure of Chairman of the Central Inspection Committee and remove Mr. Nguyen Trong Nghia from the position of Head of the Central Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Department.
Mr. Nguyen Duy Ngoc is currently holding the position of Politburo member, Secretary of the Hanoi Party Committee; Mr. Nguyen Trong Nghia - Politburo member, Secretary of the Party Central Committee has just been appointed to hold the position of Director of the General Department of Politics of the Vietnam People's Army, and promoted from Senior Lieutenant General to General.
Currently, the Chairman of the National Election Council is Politburo member and National Assembly Chairman Tran Thanh Man.
