On April 15, the Standing Committee of Bac Lieu Provincial Party Committee held a meeting of the Provincial Party Executive Committee to approve the project of consolidating Bac Lieu Newspaper and the Radio and Television Station of Bac Lieu Province and the plan to arrange the administrative unit at the commune level in the province.
At this meeting, the Executive Committee officially approved the plan of arranging administrative units at communes and wards in the whole province.
According to the plan, the whole Bac Lieu province will arrange 25 communes and wards on the basis of 64 existing communes and wards.
Specifically, Bac Lieu city from 10 administrative units at commune level has 3 wards (without commune); Gia Rai town from 10 communal administrative units has 2 wards and 1 commune; Hong Dan district from 9 communal administrative units has 4 communes; Dong Hai district from 11 communal administrative units has 5 communes; Hoa Binh district from 8 communal administrative units has 3 communes; Phuoc Long district from 8 administrative units at the commune level has 4 communes and finally Vinh Loi district from 8 administrative units at the commune level will have 3 communes.
For the project of consolidating Bac Lieu Newspaper and Bac Lieu Radio and Television Station, the following name is expected to be the newspaper and the Radio and Television Station of Bac Lieu Province, operating under the model of non -business units under the Provincial Party Committee. The office will be located at the current radio and television station. After consolidating, the Provincial Radio and Television Station is expected to maintain the number of employees and labor contracts; Establishing 7 affiliated organizations, reducing 4 organizations compared to the previous 2 units.
Speaking at the Conference Conclusion, Mr. Lu Van Hung - Member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of Bac Lieu Provincial Party Committee - emphasized: After this meeting, localities continue to collect people's opinions to complete the projects. It is expected that on April 28, the provincial People's Council will be approved to keep up the central submission to the beginning of May. Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee suggested that all levels and branches thoroughly grasp the ideology and urgently organize the implementation.
