According to the Vietnam Communist Party Electronic Information Portal, on behalf of the Secretariat, Politburo Member, Standing Secretary of the Secretariat Tran Cam Tu has just signed and issued Conclusion No. 232-KL/TW in 2026 of the Secretariat on handling cases of violations that still exist in personnel work.
In the conclusion, the Secretariat commented: Over the past time, the review, handling, and overcoming of cases of violations in personnel work has basically been implemented seriously, objectively, publicly, transparently by Party committees, Party organizations, localities, agencies, and units, with consideration and consideration of specific historical circumstances, ensuring proper procedures, creating consensus among cadres, civil servants, and public employees, contributing to tightening discipline and order in personnel work.
However, there are still some agencies, units, and localities that lack decisiveness, show signs of evasion, have not focused on reviewing and fully implementing the requirements in the conclusions of the Secretariat, leading to some backlog and prolonged violations that have not been handled and completely overcome, affecting the arrangement, arrangement, restructuring and improving the quality of the contingent of cadres, civil servants, and public employees.
To thoroughly handle the remaining violations, the Secretariat requests Party committees, Party organizations, collective leaders and heads of agencies and units to strictly implement a number of contents.
In which, annulment and revocation of relevant decisions for the following cases (223 cases):
- Violations in recruitment work occurred after March 24, 2020 (with 57 cases).
- Belonging to the category of having to take exams but not taking exams according to regulations (there are 166 cases).
For cases where there is no recruitment decision or the recruitment dossier is incomplete according to regulations, the implementation is as follows (396 cases):
- Cases occurring before December 28, 2017: Assign Party committees, Party organizations, and collective leaders of agencies, units, and localities to lead and direct the implementation of comprehensive review and assessment, if it is determined that the case has been recruited according to regulations but the dossier is lost due to errors of the competent agency or organization, consider not revoking relevant decisions; if it is determined that it has not been recruited according to regulations, then cancel and revoke relevant decisions.
- In case it occurs after December 28, 2017, the relevant decisions shall be canceled and revoked.
The Secretariat also directed not to revoke recruitment decisions and related decisions, and to dismiss according to regulations for cases of recruitment violations that have been decided to be dismissed before the age of the competent authority (there are 15 cases).
