On the afternoon of March 17, the Hanoi City Party Committee held the Award Ceremony for the Press Award on Party Building and the Political System of Hanoi City for the VIIIth time - 2025. Politburo Member, Secretary of the Hanoi City Party Committee Nguyen Duy Ngoc attended and awarded the prize.
Speaking at the award ceremony, Deputy Secretary of the Hanoi Party Committee Nguyen Van Phong highly appreciated the role, responsibility and contributions of central and Hanoi City press agencies to the achievements of the Party Committee, government and people of the Capital in recent years.
Emphasizing that in the development process of the Capital, the press continues to play a particularly important role, the Deputy Secretary of the Hanoi Party Committee requested press agencies and journalists to continue to promote the glorious tradition of Vietnamese revolutionary press agencies, closely follow the political tasks of the city, and constantly improve the quality, combativeness, and constructiveness of press works on Party building and the political system.
At the same time, press agencies and journalists also continue to vividly reflect the renovation reality of the Capital, discover and spread good models and effective ways of doing things, contributing to firmly protecting the ideological foundation of the Party and consolidating the trust of society.

From the results of this year's award, the Deputy Secretary of the Hanoi Party Committee believes that the team of journalists will continue to promote their intelligence, enthusiasm, and political responsibility, contributing many valuable journalistic works on Party building and the political system as well as in all fields of work of the Capital Hanoi.
Based on the results of the preliminary round, the final jury selected 2 press agencies with the same excellent ranking and 34 excellent press works to award prizes, including: 1 special prize; 3 A prizes; 5 B prizes; 7 C prizes; 3 C prizes (specialized) and 15 consolation prizes, ensuring compliance with the Award regulations and the quality of participating works.
Notably, the group of authors Nguyen Thi Ha, Nguyen Thi Thuy Linh, Pham Thi Thao Anh, Nguyen Tuan Anh, Pham Vu Linh won the B prize with the work "Building policies from things that make people happy: Imprints in the era of reaching out".




According to the assessment of the judging council, the quality of journalistic works participating in this year's awards is more uniform between central press agencies, sectors and Hanoi press.
The content and form of expression are quite good, with elaborate investment, diverse topics, rich and attractive forms of expression. The content of the works focuses on many important issues, such as: Implementing Resolution No. 15-NQ/TW of the Politburo on orientations and tasks for the development of Hanoi Capital to 2030, vision to 2045; implementing the Capital Law; arranging and streamlining the apparatus; improving the effectiveness and efficiency of the political system's operation; administrative reform, digital transformation; improving the quality of Party cell activities and public service ethics.
Many works have gone deep into reflecting positive changes in the practice of Party building at the grassroots level, introducing good models, creative ways of doing things, and advanced examples in leadership, management and serving the people.
A highlight of this year's award is the strong development of online newspaper works with many modern forms of expression such as Megastory, Emagazine, information graphics and videos. Thereby, contributing to enriching the way of conveying information, helping the content about Party building become closer and more attractive to readers.
On this occasion, Deputy Secretary of the City Party Committee Nguyen Van Phong launched the 9th Hanoi City Press Award on Party building and political system, 2026 and believes that the award will continue to receive positive responses from press agencies of Hanoi as well as the Central Government and provinces and cities.
