On the evening of February 3, at Ho Guom Theater (Hanoi), the Central Organizing Committee chaired and coordinated with Communist Review, Nhan Dan Newspaper, Vietnam Television, Vietnam Journalists Association to organize the Award Ceremony for Outstanding Party Cell Secretaries and announce and award the 10th Golden Hammer and Sickle Award in 2025.
As of the end of receiving entries for the 10th Golden Hammer and Sickle Award - 2025, the Standing Agency of the Award (Communist Magazine) has received a total of 2,296 works. Including 643 print newspaper works, 866 electronic newspaper works, 464 television works, 230 radio works and 93 press photo works.
With a spirit of urgency and high responsibility, 6 sub-committees of the Preliminary Examination Council with 56 members who are dedicated, responsible and experienced journalists in judging press awards have completed the judging of the preliminary round works, selecting 138 works for the final round according to the award regulations.

The final jury, with a spirit of impartiality, objectivity, and democracy, selected the best works and submitted them to the Steering Committee of the Golden Hammer and Sickle Award, deciding to award 6 A Prizes, 13 B Prizes, 18 C Prizes, 10 thematic prizes and 35 Consolation Prizes.
The Standing Agency explains to the Steering Committee of the Golden Hammer and Sickle Award decision to commend 15 collectives with outstanding achievements in organizing and implementing the Golden Hammer and Sickle Award in localities and units.
At the ceremony, General Secretary To Lam and Party and State leaders awarded prizes to authors and groups of authors who won prizes A, B, C.
At the award ceremony, the cluster of works "Relying on the people to build the Party and the political system" published in Lao Dong Newspaper by the author group Hoang Lam, Tran Van Vuong was honored to be awarded the A prize.
The series of works includes 4 articles focusing on reflecting the idea that the people are the root - a fundamental value in the Party and State building guidelines, while clarifying democracy, publicity, and transparency in the process of preparing for the 14th Party Congress.

Through articles, Lao Dong Newspaper has reflected the role of the People not only as beneficiaries but also as subjects participating in planning major national policies, thereby affirming the policy "The people are the root"; "Relying on the people to build the Party and the political system", clearly showing the humanistic, democratic and modern nature in the leadership method of the Communist Party of Vietnam today.
The series highlights and concretizes one of the viewpoints affirmed by our Party "The people are the root, the source of strength, the center and subject of the renovation, construction and defense of the Fatherland".
The series of articles is a consistent ideological and political alignment, clearly showing the Party's democratic vision and political bravery in the new era.
With a logical structure (from event - theory - practice - essay), the series of works affirms the role of the people as the subjects in all political processes, while arousing belief, pride and civic responsibility in working with the Party to build a prosperous and happy country. The series of articles received many positive reviews and has high propaganda value.
