Hung Yen Provincial Party Secretary meets with delegates, officials, and Veterans Association members

On April 23, comrade Nguyen Huu Nghia, Secretary of the Hung Yen Provincial Party Committee, met with delegates, cadres, and outstanding veteran members.

The meeting was on the occasion of the 50th anniversary of the Liberation of the South and National Reunification (April 30, 1975 - April 30, 2025); 35 years of the founding of the Veterans Association (ACB) of Hung Yen province (April 5, 1990 - April 5, 2025).

After 35 years of establishment, the Association of War Veterans in Hung Yen province has mobilized members to unite and promote the tradition of "Uncle Ho's soldiers" to actively participate in building and protecting the Party, government, socialist regimes and the great national unity bloc; uphold the spirit of self-reliance, self-strengthening, helping each other to do business, sustainably reduce poverty; pay attention to teamwork, protect rights, interests, and policies for Association members, especially those in difficult circumstances.

The associations at all levels have done a good job of granting loans to members to develop production and create jobs with a total amount of more than 376 billion VND; supporting the construction of new rural areas with a total amount of more than 16 billion VND. The whole province established 775 veteran clubs, attracting more than 38,000 veterans to participate in activities...

Up to now, the Provincial Veterans Association has been awarded the First Class Labor Medal; many collectives and individuals have been commended by the President, Prime Minister, Party committees and People's Committees at all levels...

Speaking at the meeting, Hung Yen Provincial Party Committee Secretary Nguyen Huu Nghia expressed his respect and deep gratitude to the sacrifices and great contributions of the CCBs for the independence and freedom of the Fatherland, for the happiness of the people; At the same time, congratulations on the results and achievements of the provincial CCB Association in the past 35 years, making an important contribution to the cause of innovation and development of the province.
