Details of 39 communes and wards after the reorganization of Hung Yen province

    According to the Project on arranging commune-level administrative units of Hung Yen province, which was highly agreed upon by the Provincial Party Committee Executive Committee at the 37th conference, the province still has 39 communes and wards.

    According to the Project, Hung Yen reduces the number of existing commune-level administrative units (ADUs) by 71.9%.

    Accordingly, Hung Yen province currently has 139 commune-level administrative units including: 13 wards, 8 towns and 118 communes.

    After the arrangement, Hung Yen province still has 39 commune-level administrative units, including: 6 wards, 33 communes, reducing 100 commune-level administrative units (7 wards, 8 towns and 85 communes).

    The administrative units formed after the arrangement of Hung Yen province all merged 3 or more administrative units.

    The number of commune-level administrative units expected to form after the arrangement at the district level is as follows: Hung Yen City (3 wards, 1 commune): Pho Hien Ward, Son Nam Ward, Hong Chau Ward, Tan Hung Commune.

    Tien Lu District (3 communes): Hoang Hoa Tham Commune, Tien Lu Commune, Tien Hoa Commune

    Phu Cu District (4 communes): Quang Hung Commune, Doan Dao Commune, Tien Tien Commune, Tong Tran Commune.

    Kim Dong District (4 communes): Luong Bang Commune, Nghia Dan Commune, Hiep Cuong Commune, Duc Hop Commune.

    An Thi District (5 communes): An Thi Commune, Xuan Truc Commune, Pham Ngu Lao Commune, Nguyen Trai Commune, Hong Quang Commune.

    Khoi Chau District (5 communes): Khoi Chau Commune, Trieu Viet Vuong Commune, Viet Tien Commune, Chi Minh Commune, Chau Ninh Commune.

    Yen My District (4 communes): Yen My Commune, Viet Yen Commune, Hoan Long Commune, Nguyen Van Linh Commune.

    My Hao Town (3 Wards): My Hao Ward, Duong Hao Ward, Thuong Hong Ward.

    Van Lam District (3 communes): Nhu Quynh Commune, Lac Dao Commune, Dai Dong Commune.

    Van Giang district (4 communes): Nghia Tru commune, Phung Cong commune, Van Giang commune, Me So commune.

    There are 3 newly formed DVHC on the basis of merging communal units of 2 different districts, including: Me So commune, Van Giang district (importing more Binh Minh commune, Khoai Chau district); Hoan Long commune, Yen My district (imported more in Dong Tao commune, Khoai Chau district); Tan Hung commune, Hung Yen city (imported more Thu Sy commune, Tien Lu district).
