According to Dien Lam Commune Police, at 3:00 p.m. on October 13, the unit received information from people about the discovery of a crocodile in the Cho River area, Xuan Tay village, Dien Lam commune, Khanh Hoa province.
Immediately afterwards, the Commune Police coordinated with functional forces to approach the scene and mobilized people, using guns to successfully fire the crocodile.
This individual is a crocodile, weighing about 80kg, 2.65m long, and the species has not been determined. The commune police brought the crocodile to the headquarters and coordinated with relevant units to handle it according to regulations.
Previously, Mr. Ha Kim Quang (born in 2003, residing in Ba Dui village, Bac Khanh Vinh commune) was fishing in the Co river area, near Suoi Sau B bridge, Xuan Trung village, Dien Lam commune, when he was attacked by crocodiles.
In recent days, Dien Lam Commune Police have coordinated with Khanh Hoa Provincial Police to search on the Co River.
On the afternoon of October 13, the crocodile was discovered about 100m downstream from where Mr. Quang was attacked.
