On August 18, Khanh Hoa Provincial Police held a meeting to celebrate the 80th anniversary of the Vietnam People's Public Security Traditional Day (August 19, 1945 - August 19, 2025) and the 20th anniversary of the National Day for National Security Protection (August 19, 2005 - August 19, 2025).
According to Major General Nguyen Huu Phuoc - Director of Khanh Hoa Provincial Police, along with the People's Public Security force nationwide, Khanh Hoa Public Security force was born on the historic days of the August Revolution.
During the two resistance wars against French colonialism and American imperialism, Khanh Hoa Police force supported the people, built a foundation, and fought to defeat the enemy's oppressive campaigns, making an important contribution to the struggle to liberate the South and unify the country.
Entering the renovation period, the Provincial Police force has proactively researched, applied, and advised Party committees and authorities to direct the implementation and effectively organize the implementation of the policies and viewpoints of the Party, State, and superiors on the task of ensuring security and order to serve the task of local economic and social development.
80 years of building, fighting and maturing the Khanh Hoa Police force have been awarded many noble awards by the State.
In that glorious journey, hundreds of officers and soldiers heroically sacrificed their lives in two resistance wars and the fight against crime, protecting security and order, for the peaceful and happy life of the people.
Major General Nguyen Huu Phuoc emphasized that the slogan of action of the entire provincial police force in 2025 and the following years is to be a leading model, accelerate the implementation of the Party's policies and the State's laws, build a truly clean, strong, disciplined, elite, and modern People's Public Security force.
Speaking at the ceremony, Mr. Nghiem Xuan Thanh - Member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of the Khanh Hoa Provincial Party Committee affirmed that through historical stages, thousands of examples of branches and soldiers of the Provincial Police have appeared, being intelligent, brave, not afraid of hardship and sacrifice, and achieving many feats.
The new Khanh Hoa province after the merger opens up a large development space, but also poses many difficulties and complications in the management of security and order. Traditional crimes are transforming sophisticatedly, high-tech crimes, and transnational crimes are increasingly complex.
The Khanh Hoa Provincial Party Secretary requested the Provincial Police to continue to innovate and streamline; identify opportunities and challenges, strictly implement Resolution No. 12 of the Politburo according to the 5- clearly stated motto: Clear people, clear work, clear progress, clear results, clear responsibilities.
