The conference was attended by Mr. Dang Xuan Phong - Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee; Mr. Bui Huy Vinh - Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee and Tran Duy Dong - Chairman of the People's Committee of Vinh Phuc province.
At the conference, the Organizing Committee of Vinh Phuc Provincial Party Committee announced a list of expected 108 newly established Standing Committee members of the Party Committees of communes and wards.
Secretary of the Vinh Phuc Provincial Party Committee Dang Xuan Phong emphasized that this is a conference of special significance before the new Phu Tho province comes into operation. Up to now, the preparations for the merger of the new province and Vinh Phuc have been basically completed, meeting the requirements of progress, roadmap, and time.
To make the 2-level local government model truly operate effectively, Mr. Dang Xuan Phong requested the entire Party Committee and people of Vinh Phuc to promote the spirit of solidarity, democracy, and high unity in leadership, direction and implementation.
The implementation of the two-level local government will initially face difficulties and obstacles, so leaders at the provincial and commune levels need to quickly stabilize the situation, do a good job of mass mobilization; proactively meet and contact the people to grasp their thoughts and aspirations to create common consensus, the Secretary of the Vinh Phuc Provincial Party Committee emphasized.
In addition, as soon as the new model comes into operation, local leaders proactively receive and hand over administrative boundary records, assets, and headquarters settlements, ensuring the apparatus operates smoothly, leaving no gaps in management in the area, especially in security and order.
