    The Ministry of Public Security guides the handling of cases where population information on the Ministry of Public Security's Public Service Portal does not match the National Population Database.

    Reporting to the Ministry of Public Security's Electronic Information Portal, Ms. Vo Thi Thuy (character's name has been changed) has issued an ID card No. 09519200*** and has a level 2 electronic identification account on VNeID.

    Currently, Ms. Thuy is in need of an ID card for her child. However, when registering the application on the Ministry of Public Security's Public Service Portal, the notification system said that her population information did not match the National Population Database.

    "What is the way to know if the information is consistent or not? If my population information matches, what should I do?" - Ms. Thuy wondered.

    Responding to the above proposal, the Ministry of Public Security said that citizens who want to know whether their information is consistent or not should contact the Police Agency where the citizen registered to reside to check and edit the information to match the National Population Database.

    In case the citizen's population information is overlapped (detached population information), the citizen must register the dossier on the Ministry of Public Security's Public Service Portal in accordance with the correct instructions.
