On December 9, Ha Nam Provincial Police said that recently, the unit has directed and deployed many solutions to carry out tasks, focusing on increasing the staffing of commune and town police.
Up to now, Ha Nam Provincial Police have arranged an average of 8 personnel for each commune and town, completing the target of Resolution No. 12 of the Central Public Security Party Committee 1 year ahead of schedule.
With the determination to build the police force of communes and towns to meet the requirements and tasks in the new situation, Senior Lieutenant Colonel Phan Trong Nhan - Head of the Organization and Personnel Department (Ha Nam Provincial Police) - said that with 3 key "breakthrough" solutions proposed in Resolution 12 of the Central Public Security Party Committee, the unit has advised the Provincial Police Director to issue over 30 directive documents.
In particular, Plan No. 641 dated June 7, 2023 on strengthening staff for the grassroots police was issued, the plan specifically defines tasks in terms of content and progress, according to each field of work, and is implemented in accordance with the spirit of clear people, clear work, clear responsibilities, clear progress, and clear results.
Up to now, Ha Nam Provincial Police has arranged 91 investigators as Chiefs and Deputy Chiefs of Commune and Town Police; appointed 34 investigators of Commune and Town Police. Regularly, attention is paid to training, fostering, and coaching to improve the qualifications of officers and soldiers.
The unit also prioritizes sending police officers from communes and towns to training according to the roadmap to ensure the goals set out in Resolution No. 12. Of which, 27 training courses on topics and fields were organized for nearly 3,000 police officers from communes and towns.
At the same time, advise on organizing dialogues with officers and soldiers to listen to opinions, promptly grasp the political and ideological stance, thoughts and aspirations of party members and officers and soldiers.
Ha Nam Provincial Police also accelerated the completion and put into use 34 police headquarters of communes and towns not subject to administrative boundary arrangement, and synchronized equipment and provided pickup trucks for 64/89 commune and town police to promote efficiency in serving the work of ensuring security and order at the grassroots level.
