Prime Minister appoints Deputy Minister of Agriculture and Environment
On the afternoon of January 16, the Ministry of Agriculture and Environment (MARD) announced the Prime Minister's decision to appoint Mr. Dang Ngoc Diep as Deputy Minister of MARD.
Deputy Minister Dang Ngoc Diep is an official who has worked for many years in the fields of agriculture and environment; used to work at the Government Office, the Government Inspectorate, and held the position of Deputy Chief of the Government Inspectorate Office. When he came to the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development, he successively held the positions of Chief of the Ministry Office, Director of the Department of Planning and Finance.
Prime Minister appoints Vice President of Vietnam Academy of Science and Technology
Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh signed Decision No. 72/QD-TTg on the transfer and appointment of Mr. Bui The Duy - Alternate Member of the Party Central Committee, Deputy Minister of Science and Technology to hold the position of Vice President of the Vietnam Academy of Science and Technology.
The term of appointment is 5 years. This decision takes effect from January 11, 2026.

In the afternoon of January 14, the Central Internal Affairs Commission organized a conference to award decisions on transferring and appointing leaders at the Department level.
At the conference, Politburo Member, Secretary of the Party Central Committee, Head of the Central Internal Affairs Commission Phan Dinh Trac awarded the decision to transfer and appoint Mr. Ta Van Giang - Chief of Office to hold the position of Director of the Internal Affairs Agency Department;
Appointing Mr. Nguyen Quang Truong - Deputy Director of the Department of Monitoring the work of preventing and combating corruption, wastefulness, and negativity, Secretary of the Standing Deputy Head of the Committee to hold the position of Chief of Office.
At the conference, Secretary of the Party Central Committee, Standing Deputy Head of the Central Internal Affairs Commission Le Minh Tri presented decisions to appoint Mr. Pham Duc Thuan - Deputy Director of Department of Local Affairs II; Mr. Nguyen Di Khanh - Deputy Director of Department of Internal Affairs Agency - Secretary of Mr. Bui Van Nghiem, Member of the Party Central Committee, Deputy Head of the Commission; Mr. Nguyen Van Chung - Deputy Director of Department of Local Affairs I - Secretary of Mr. Le Hong Quang, Member of the Party Central Committee, Deputy Head of the Commission.
Ministry of Science and Technology appoints 6 officials
On the morning of January 13, the Ministry of Science and Technology organized a ceremony to announce and award decisions on personnel work at 5 affiliated units.
Mr. Nguyen Ngoc Huynh, Head of Licensing Department - Department of Radiation and Nuclear Safety, was appointed Deputy Director of Radiation and Nuclear Safety.
Mr. Nguyen Huu Can was reappointed to the position of Deputy Director of the National Intellectual Property Office. The Minister also assigned the Acting Director to Mr. Can until another decision is made.
Mr. Tran Duy Hai was reappointed to the position of Deputy Director of Telecommunications.
Mr. Pham Quoc Hoan was reappointed as Deputy Director of the National Electronic Authentication Center.
Mr. Luu Dinh Quyet and Mr. Vu Ket Doan were reappointed as Vice Rectors of the College of Information and Communications.
