On the afternoon of April 18, the Department of Organization and Personnel (Department 15), the Supreme People's Procuracy (SPP) held a ceremony to announce and hand over decisions to appoint primary and intermediate prosecutors to many officials.
Accordingly, Mr. Nguyen Tuan Anh - Inspectorate, Deputy Head of the Department of Organization and Personnel of the Supreme People's Procuracy - was appointed to hold the position of Primary Prosecutor. The term of appointment is 5 years, starting from April 16, 2025.
Appointed Ms. Ngo Thi Anh Hong - Primary Prosecutor, Department of Organization and Personnel of the Supreme People's Procuracy - to hold the position of Intermediate Prosecutor. The term of appointment is 10 years, starting from April 16, 2025.
Appointed Mr. Nguyen Manh Quan - Inspector, Department of Organization and Personnel of the Supreme People's Procuracy - to hold the position of Primary Prosecutor. The term of appointment is 5 years, starting from April 16, 2025.
Speaking at the ceremony, the Director of Department 15 requested that after being appointed, the prosecutors continue to constantly improve, study, and practice their expertise and profession; proactively uphold their roles and responsibilities in fighting against crime, protecting the law, and protecting the legitimate rights and interests of the State, organizations, and citizens.
Also last week, on April 16, the Supreme People's Procuracy held a ceremony to announce and hand over the decision of the Chief Justice of the Supreme People's Procuracy on personnel work.
Accordingly, Mr. Nguyen Xuan Huong - Senior Prosecutor, Deputy Director of the Legal Department, Supreme People's Procuracy - was appointed to the position of Deputy Director of the Institute of Procuracy Science, from April 16, 2025.
Along with that, the leaders of the Department of Organization and Personnel also announced the Decisions on the appointment of the title of Senior Prosecutor to 9 officials working at a number of units under the Supreme People's Procuracy and the High-level People's Procuracy in Hanoi.
9 people were appointed to hold the title of Senior Prosecutor, including 5 people in units under the Supreme People's Procuracy, including: Ms. Bui Thi Thu Huong - Department 1; Mr. Nguyen Huy Khanh - Department 3; Ms. Nguyen Thi Viet Chung - Department 10; Mr. Le Duc Son - Deputy Chief of the Office of the Supreme People's Procuracy; Mr. Tran The Linh - Department 3.
4 people of the Hanoi People's Procuracy were appointed to the title of Senior Prosecutor, including Mr. Tran Minh Chau; Nguyen Van Tan, Tran Dang Vinh, Nguyen Van Vinh.
The decisions to appoint the title of Senior Prosecutor to the above 9 officers are effective from April 16, 2025.
At the ceremony, Mr. Nguyen Huy Tien - Director of the Supreme People's Procuracy - presented decisions to 9 people appointed to hold the position of Senior Prosecutor at units under the Supreme People's Procuracy and the High-level People's Procuracy in Hanoi and 1 person was transferred and appointed to the position of Department-level leader under the Supreme People's Procuracy.
Mr. Tien suggested that those appointed should continue to be exemplary, make more efforts, perform well the role, responsibility, bravery and moral qualities of senior prosecutors and unit leaders to excellently complete assigned tasks, contributing to building the unit and the People's Procuracy sector to be increasingly strong and developed.
