From November 20 to 23, 2025, at the Itecc Labor Conference Center - Vientiane Capital, the Ministry of National Defense of Vietnam and the Ministry of National Defense of Laos will coordinate to organize a Fair to connect trade and promote Vietnam - Laos enterprise products in 2025.
This is a meaningful activity to enhance economic cooperation, promote bilateral trade and deepen the great friendship and special solidarity between the two Parties, two States and two armies.
The fair has a scale of nearly 150 booths, gathering a large number of military enterprises and prestigious enterprises of the two countries. The displayed products are diverse and rich, including: defense industry products, mechanics, electronics, construction materials, consumer goods, agricultural products, OCOP products... meeting the needs of the Lao market and the ASEAN region.
Within the framework of the event, the Organizing Committee implemented the Trade Connection Program, focusing on the Vietnam - Laos Investment Promotion Conference and direct and online trade activities between businesses of the two countries. After the Fair, the authorities continue to support businesses in need, ensuring long-term connection efficiency.
In parallel with trade promotion activities, many meaningful socio-political programs will be organized such as donating computers and equipment to the Lao Ministry of National Defense; giving gifts to Lao families and people, contributing to strengthening solidarity and friendship between the two countries.
The highlight of the Fair is the Vietnam - Laos cultural - artistic space, chaired by the Propaganda Department, General Department of Politics of the Vietnam People's Army.
Here, images, documents, and artifacts vividly recreating the special tradition of solidarity between Vietnam and Laos are displayed. During the event, video clips introducing the production and construction of Vietnam's defense industry will be widely screened, contributing to promoting the image and improving the communication efficiency of the Fair.
