Delegates also pointed out some shortcomings and limitations in the process of directing and organizing the implementation of tasks, causes, lessons learned and proposed solutions to improve the quality of justice, inspection, legal affairs, auditing and 1389 work in 2026.
After listening to the report and contributions, Senior Lieutenant General Nguyen Van Gau - Member of the Party Central Committee, Deputy Minister of National Defense - praised the outstanding results in the implementation of tasks in 2025 of agencies and units.
Senior Lieutenant General Nguyen Van Gau requested agencies and units to closely follow and seriously and effectively implement the guidelines and policies of the Party and State, the leadership and direction of the Central Military Commission, the Standing Committee of the Central Military Commission, and the Ministry of National Defense on judicial work, inspection, legal affairs, audit and work 1389.
Continue to improve the quality of the work of building and perfecting institutions on military, national defense, and basic affairs; Strictly and effectively implement programs and projects on disseminating and educating laws; Innovate content and forms to be rich, diverse and practically suitable; Promptly inspect and strictly handle Party organizations and Party members with violations related to cases and incidents.

Senior Lieutenant General Nguyen Van Gau also requested judicial agencies to promote the good implementation of detection, investigation, prosecution, and trial of serious and complex cases, ensuring timeliness according to regulations;
Effectively implement the work of resolving information and denunciations about crimes and prosecution recommendations, proactively grasp the situation from early and far, prevent and stop violations right from the time they arise; Decisively handle complaints and denunciations; absolutely not let them drag on causing frustration or forming "hot spots".
Notably, functional forces under the Border Guard and Coast Guard are promoting patrol, inspection, and control work, especially in key areas and during holidays, Tet, and the last months of the year.
In 2025, thoroughly grasping and strictly implementing the direction of the Central Military Commission and the Ministry of National Defense, with the spirit of solidarity, responsibility and high determination, agencies have also proactively overcome difficulties, synchronously implemented solutions and successfully completed tasks, creating changes in all aspects of work.
The Border Guard Command presided over and coordinated the successful fight against 105 projects; arrested more than 7,640 cases with nearly 12,000 subjects. In which, drug crimes were 731 cases with more than 1,000 subjects, seizing nearly 2,500 kg of drugs of all kinds. The Coast Guard force discovered, arrested, and handled 1,545 cases with more than 2,100 subjects.
