On January 1st, according to the Ministry of National Defense's Electronic Information Portal, the Ministry of National Defense has just responded to citizens regarding the standard qualifications of national defense and security education lecturers.
Accordingly, citizens of Can Tho City have a question: "A person with a degree from the Tang Technical Command College, who has worked in the Army for 13 years, then transferred to work at a university, the military rank when transferring is Major, with a degree in Construction Engineering, Master of Education Management, is eligible for the standard level of national defense and security education lecturer specified in Clause 2, Article 6 of Decree No. 13/2014/ND-CP?".
Answering the above question, the functional agency of the Ministry of National Defense said: In Clause 2, Article 6 of Decree No. 13/2014/ND-CP dated February 25, 2014 of the Government on the standard qualifications of national defense and security education lecturers, it is stipulated:
“2. Lecturers must have one of the following standard qualifications: a) Having a bachelor's degree in national defense and security education or higher; b) Army and Police officers with a university degree or higher; c) Having a university degree or higher in other majors and a certificate of training as teachers, lecturers in national defense and security education and a certificate of pedagogical professional development”.
Comparing with Clause 2, Article 6 of Decree 13/2014/ND-CP dated February 25, 2014 of the Government, in cases such as citizens asking "not enough standard qualifications for lecturers in national defense and security education".
