The Ministry of National Defense received a petition from voters in Lam Dong province transferred by the National Assembly's Committee for Petitions and Supervision according to Official Dispatch No. 2566/UBDNGS15.
Voters propose to consider increasing the level of support for soldiers participating in the resistance war in the past.
Answering this content, the Ministry of National Defense said that the Party and State always pay attention to, care for and promulgate many regimes and policies to ensure the legitimate rights of participants in the resistance war, as shown in the Prime Minister's Decisions, including:
Decision No. 47/2002/QD-TTg on regimes for military personnel and national defense workers participating in the resistance war against France who were demobilized (discharged from service, resigned) from December 31, 1960 and earlier; Decision No. 290/2005/QD-TTg on regimes and policies for some subjects directly participating in the resistance war against the US for national salvation but not yet entitled to policies of the Party and State;

Currently, the settlement of the one-time allowance regime for eligible subjects according to the regulations in the above documents has basically been completed.
The settlement of monthly allowances is implemented according to the Government's regulations and is adjusted in the direction of increasing when the Government adjusts the base salary level, ensuring compliance with socio-economic development conditions and the ability to balance the state budget; thereby, showing the concern and care of the Party and State for the subjects participating in the resistance war.
