On July 25, Deputy Prime Minister Mai Van Chinh chaired the 4th meeting of the Steering Committee for the National Achievements Exhibition on the occasion of the 80th anniversary of National Day (September 2, 1945 - September 2, 2025).
Emphasizing that this is an important and key event to celebrate the 80th anniversary of National Day, the Deputy Prime Minister requested that the exhibition must be organized solemnly, in accordance with the policies of the Party and State, on a scale commensurate with the proud 50-year journey of the country, and must attract a large number of people to view the exhibition, the attention of international friends, and must be safe and economical.
The Deputy Prime Minister requested to focus on reviewing the content of the exhibition outline and taking full responsibility for the content, images, information, documents, and artifacts displayed in the exhibition space of the agency or unit under his/her management.
Urgently adjust and complete the design plan, prepare for the exhibition construction and send the complete design plan back to the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism for synthesis and construction of the Exhibition on a digital platform, completing the overall maket of the Exhibition.
Responsible for reviewing and verifying the legality and typical characteristics of enterprises introduced to participate in the exhibition; Carefully reviewing the display content of participating enterprises and units, ensuring copyright, accuracy and completeness of information and images, documents, and exhibits.
Regarding specific tasks, the Deputy Prime Minister assigned the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism:
Regarding the overall design, the ministry coordinated with Vietnam Exhibition Center Joint Stock Company and the international consulting unit to urgently develop and complete the overall design of the Exhibition space.
The Ministry establishes an appraisal Council and is responsible for approving the design according to its authority and regulations. Complete before August 5, 2025.
The Deputy Prime Minister agreed to add exhibition space to 3 units: the Supreme People's Court, the Supreme People's Procuracy and the State Audit to fully and comprehensively demonstrate the picture of the country's achievements over 80 years of construction and development.
Vingroup Corporation and Vietnam Exhibition Center Joint Stock Company: Prepare enough infrastructure for units to participate in the construction, staging and implementing the exhibition activities; provide infrastructure data to the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism, relevant agencies and units; manage and operate infrastructure during the exhibition period.
Closely coordinate with the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism and agencies, units and localities to resolve issues related to exhibition organization, especially upcoming contents to prepare for the construction, opening and closing, as well as ensuring security, order, fire prevention, landscape protection, environmental sanitation and health care...
Develop a plan, organize food, entertainment, travel and utilities to serve the essential needs of visitors.
To serve the travel needs of people visiting the Exhibition, the Hanoi People's Committee has a plan to implement the arrangement of transportation plans and public transport.
