On July 4, Deputy Prime Minister Mai Van Chinh chaired a meeting with ministries on solutions to remove difficulties and obstacles in policies and mechanisms related to finance of the National Achievement Exhibition on the occasion of the 80th anniversary of National Day.
At the meeting, Deputy Minister of Finance Bui Van Khang reported on the budget for organizing the "Exhibition of Socio-Economic Achievements on the occasion of the 80th anniversary of National Day".
Accordingly, to ensure that units have timely funding to implement, the Ministry of Finance has issued a document reporting to the Prime Minister on the exhibition organization budget.

Speaking, Deputy Prime Minister Mai Van Chinh welcomed the Ministry of Finance and the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism for proactively and actively preparing budget estimates to serve the exhibition.
However, through the report, there are still some units that have not been completed, the Deputy Prime Minister requested the Ministry of Finance to urge ministries, branches and localities to send a proposal report for synthesis and reporting to the Government leaders on July 5-6.
The Government leader emphasized that this is an urgent project, serving the 80th anniversary of National Day, with high requirements, scale, and stature, serving the people of the country and international tourists.
The Deputy Prime Minister requested the Ministry of Finance to soon issue a document guiding standards, norms, spending regimes and regulations on bidding.
The Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism coordinates and agrees with the Ministry of Finance to guide on arising issues. If there are points exceeding the current norms, submit to competent authorities for consideration and regulation to suit the actual situation.
The Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism needs to develop a detailed plan to implement the work, clearly defining which day to work and which work must be completed.
This plan must clearly demonstrate the responsibility of localities, ministries and branches to facilitate control and urging. Those who do well are welcomed, those who do not do well must report to remind.
The Deputy Prime Minister also proposed the establishment of a Standing Group including the Ministry of Finance and the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism to immediately resolve the problems. From now on, there will certainly be exhibitions, when the units ask, they must answer immediately.
Emphasizing that there is not much left time, the Deputy Prime Minister requested ministries, branches and localities to urgently deploy related work in the spirit of doing quickly, doing correctly, and quickly, but must comply with the provisions of the law.
