The Government Office issued Notice No. 352/TB-VPCP dated July 7, 2025 on the conclusion of Politburo member, Permanent Deputy Prime Minister Nguyen Hoa Binh and Deputy Prime Minister Mai Van Chinh - Head of the Exhibition Steering Committee at the meeting to organize the National Achievement Exhibition on the occasion of the 80th anniversary of National Day (September 2, 1945 - September 2, 2025).
The exhibition with the theme: "80 years of independence - freedom - Happiness" is of special significance, an event to honor history, introducing outstanding achievements of our Party, State and people in the process of protecting, building and developing the country over the past 80 years.
The two Deputy Prime Ministers requested the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism (MOCST), relevant agencies and localities to urgently focus on implementing the tasks and work set out, ensuring the quality and progress of regulations, in which it is noted:
Regarding the exhibition space and premises, the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism urgently completed the handover to ministries, departments, branches, and central and local organizations to receive the exhibition area of its agency.
Encourage ministries, departments, branches and localities to promote creativity in the area and exhibition space of their agencies, ensuring both beauty, science, attractiveness and harmony with the designed ideas of the consulting unit.
Regarding cultural and artistic space, the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism and Vietnam Television focus on implementing plans to organize art and entertainment programs; at the same time, encourage and welcome localities to register to participate in organizing special art and performance programs to introduce the culture and identity of their localities.
The spirit is to create an exciting and enthusiastic atmosphere for the whole country towards the 80th anniversary of National Day.
Along with the exhibition space, cultural and artistic space, the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism reviewed to have more culinary space to introduce the culinary quintessence of regions across the country.
It is recommended that each locality has a booth to introduce the best cuisine, dishes, and specialties of their locality to both introduce and serve people visiting the exhibition.
Urgently complete and unify the content of the exhibition outline and design maket of your agency or locality, send it to the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism for synthesis, handling and having a coordinated plan, construction and installation, ensuring efficiency, synchronization and unity in organization and implementation.
Urgently and actively implement the organization and implementation of work related to the exhibition space of their agencies and localities, starting from July 10 and requiring completion before August 15.
The Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism collects opinions and proposals from agencies and localities and reviews and handles them according to its authority, promptly reports to competent authorities on issues beyond its authority, ensuring that all preparations for organizing the exhibition must be basically completed by August 15.
The Ministry of Finance and the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism urgently provide guidance and resolve funding for organizing the exhibition.
