In Van Yen and Tran Yen districts, Minister of Home Affairs Pham Thi Thanh Tra and the working delegation visited and gave Tet greetings and gifts to policy households, poor households in difficult circumstances, households that suffered heavy damage from storm No. 3 that occurred in September 2024, and workers in difficult circumstances.
Minister of Home Affairs Pham Thi Thanh Tra acknowledged and highly appreciated the results achieved by the Party Committee, government and people of all ethnic groups in Yen Bai province and the two districts of Van Yen and Tran Yen in socio-economic development.
Although Yen Bai province in general and districts and towns in particular suffered heavy damage due to the impact of storm No. 3, with the timely leadership and direction of Party committees and authorities at all levels, the efforts of the people and the joint efforts of the whole community, Yen Bai province quickly overcame the consequences of storm No. 3, soon restored production and business development, rebuilt houses to help people stabilize their lives.
The Minister of Home Affairs requested that the Party Committee and the government of Van Yen district in the coming time need to focus on leading and directing the successful organization of Party Congresses at all levels; towards the 14th National Party Congress and important events of the country in 2025.
Regarding Tran Yen district, Ms. Pham Thi Thanh Tra highly appreciated the National Target Program on New Rural Construction which was implemented methodically, focusedly, practically and effectively by the district.
The Minister of Home Affairs hopes that in the coming time, the Party Committee, government and people of Tran Yen district will continue to make efforts to build new rural areas in a more sustainable way to create a better new life and improve the happiness index for the people.
Ms. Pham Thi Thanh Tra also requested the Party Committee and the government of Yen Bai province in general and localities in particular to continue to pay attention and prepare for Tet for people, especially those affected by natural disasters; help people overcome difficulties and recover after the flood so that people can have a warm and happy life.
On this occasion, the Minister of Home Affairs presented Yen Bai province with 3,200 Tet gifts to poor households, near-poor households, households in difficult circumstances, households affected by storm No. 3 and workers in difficult circumstances in Yen Bai province.
