On the occasion of Lunar New Year 2025, students in Yen Bai province will have 14 days off.

On January 15, the Yen Bai Department of Education and Training informed that, implementing Decision No. 1627 on promulgating the framework for the 2024-2025 school year schedule for preschool education, general education and continuing education in the area, the 2025 Lunar New Year holiday for students is 14 days, from January 22 to February 4 (from December 23 of the year of Giap Thin to January 7 of the year of At Ty).

For officials, civil servants, public employees and workers, it is 9 days (including 5 official Tet holidays and 4 weekly days off), from January 25 (ie December 26, year of Giap Thin) to February 2 (ie January 5, year of At Ty).

The Department of Education and Training of Yen Bai province requires schools in Yen Bai province to strengthen coordination between schools and families, political and social organizations, promote propaganda and education, raise awareness for cadres, civil servants, public employees and students to practice civilized lifestyle, strictly comply with legal regulations, maintain social order and safety, traffic safety...

Practice thrift and combat waste during Tet; implement food safety and hygiene measures to minimize food poisoning incidents at educational institutions. Before Tet holiday, organize cleaning of offices and schools to create a "Bright - Green - Clean - Beautiful" environment; review and ensure safety in fire prevention, accidents, injuries, natural disasters, etc.
