On April 20, the People's Committee of Ca Mau province held a direct meeting in coordination with departments, branches and localities to discuss plans for arranging, arranging and handling public assets; handling finance, budget, and public investment when implementing the arrangement and reorganization of administrative units in Ca Mau province.
At the meeting, Vice Chairman of the People's Committee of Ca Mau province Lam Van Bi said: Ca Mau province will proactively arrange public housing for cadres, civil servants, and public employees after Ca Mau and Bac Lieu merge; including the commune level in the province to ensure working conditions and work security.
The Department of Construction is assigned to review the existing public housing system, including headquarters, guest houses, and surplus public assets to study and propose reasonable arrangement. Assign the Department of Finance to coordinate with the Department of Construction to study a plan to arrange means to transport cadres, civil servants and public employees from Bac Lieu to Ca Mau after completing the reorganization of provincial-level administrative units, ensuring suitability and efficiency.

Director of the Department of Construction Du Minh Hung said: Regarding public housing, through review, the housing fund belonging to unused public assets including public housing (Ward 5, Ca Mau city) and Social housing (Ward 9, Ca Mau city) is about 8 units.
Ca Mau Guest House and Minh Hai Guest House plan to arrange accommodation for civil servants and leaders. In addition, there are also facilities that can be renovated into public housing, such as the dormitory of the Provincial Political School and the old Nguyen Viet Khai School. The total number of public housing and social housing is expected to reach about 400 units.
